Water Education Grants
CCWD has budgeted monies to help create an informed public through Water Education Grants grants.
Grant applications are taken throughout the year with the same deadlines as permit applications.
Water Education grants are for supplies or projects engaging people in information or activities regarding water resources like water quality or water conservation.

Water Quality Cost-Share Grants
The CCWD Water Quality Cost Share Program is intended to support local government projects and practices that improve water quality consistent with the Coon Creek Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy report.
Please review our 2025 Guidelines and RFP before applying.
In 2025, the categories and amounts are:
- Water Quality Improvement Projects & Practices ($125,000)
- Enhanced Street Sweeping ($150,000)
- Water Quality Improvement Planning/Feasibility ($15,000)
Note: local units of government may serve as the grantee on behalf of private entities and individuals with prior approval from the District.
The first 2025 grant application deadline is Friday, February 7th, 2025.
